Created from solid walnut, it's put together with old square nails and hand forged steel.
The planer measures 8-1/4 inches long, 2-3/4 inches wide, and 5-1/4 inches tall at the tallest point.
This was purchased in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley several decades ago and has been in our family's collection ever since. Now it's time to let someone else enjoy it.
In very good condition, the blade is actually still sharp and can be used. It also looks great displayed on a shelf with books or other collectibles.
