Florence Ceramics Lady Figurine Lisa Ballerina Blonde Hair

This Florence Ceramics lady figurine is a ballerina called Lisa. (It is said that Florence Ward named some of the figurines after her friends.) She has long blonde hair, trimmed with delicate pink roses at her face. She wears a pink ruffled tutu, with gold trimmed ceramic lace ruffles underneath. A large pink rose trims her tiny waist. Her ballet slippers are pink to match her tutu, and each foot has gold painted ribbon. Pastel pink baroque swirled ceramic waves flare into a stand for the figurine.
This vintage porcelain lady figurine has articulated fingers with matching nail polish. Her face is hand painted, with rosy cheeks and ruby lips.
She bears the Florence Ceramics factory mark on the bottom. She measures approximately 9 1/2 inches in height. She has no repairs that I have found. All fingers on right hand are present and intact, and the lace edges under the pink tutu are trimmed in gold. If there are chips to this lace, they would have to be extremely tiny as I have not found any. Noted is a missing index finger on her right hand (had to look very hard to find it), a tiny nick on the bottom of a pink ruffle on the tutu, and a tiny hairline on her left ankle. None of this is too noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy. Photos have been provided.
Florence Ceramics was a Pasadena California pottery company that operated just after World War II until it closed in the early 1960’s. The factory was run by Florence Ward and her husband and it produced many of the most cherished figurines that are enjoyed by collectors today.
Bright spots in the photos are camera and lighting glare.
