A slight streak of unique blue can be seen in the patterns of this stone. The surface finish is very smooth. The surface was smoothed by tumbling in medium grit, then brightened with the "Seger Wash" process. Best for display on a tabletop or desk. Rocks meant to be held, and will increase in luster with frequent touch. Handle with care, as this product is fragile. Petoskey Stones are 350 million year old coral, found in Northern Michigan, and is the Michigan State Stone.
